LOS COLORES BASICOS EN INGLES

Todos los colores son adjetivos porque pueden describir a los objetos. En esta lección, aprenderás los colores básicos con tonalidades claras y oscuras. además de ejemplos en Inglés y Español, de este modo, puedes practicar y mejorar tu speaking and pronuntiation. Recuerda: Los colores son adjetivos y siempre van delante de los sustantivos y tampoco tienen versión plural, es decir "azul" o "azules" siempre será "blue".

WHITE - BLANCO • "She wore a very nice white dress for her wedding" (Ella vestía un vestido blanco muy hermoso para su boda) • "The President of the US lives in The White House" (El Presidente de USA vive en la Casa Blanca).

YELLOW - AMARILLO • "Sunflowers have yellow petals" (Los girasoles tienen petalos amarillos). • "Mark wears a yellow t-shirt" (Mark trae una playera amarilla).

PINK - ROSADO • "The most of women like pink color for their outfit" (A la mayoría de las mujeres les gusta el color rosado para vestirse). • "The Pink Panther was my favorite cartoon in my childhood" (la pantera rosa fue mi caricatura favorita en mi niñez).

LIGHT BLUE - AZUL CLARO • "This light blue shirt is quite elegant" (Esta camisa de coor azul claro es muy elegante). • "My neighbors are painting their house in light blue" (Mis vecinos están pintando su casa de azul claro).

BLUE - AZUL • "Blue is a color that inspires confidence" (El azul es un color que inspira confianza). • "Jessica has got beautiful blue eyes" (Jessica tiene hermosos ojos azules).

DARK BLUE - AZUL OSCURO • "I´m gonna wear these dark blue jeans for tomorrow" (Voy a usar estos jeans de color azul oscuro). • "The sky has a dark blue color when it´s night" (El cielo tiene un color azul oscuro en la noche).

LIGHT GREEN - VERDE CLARO • "Jhonny´s bedroom is painted in light green" (El cuarto de Jhonny está pintado de color verde claro). • "Some of the plants have a beautiful light green color" (Algunas plantas tienen un bello color verde claro).

GREEN - VERDE • "The green color in the traffic lights mean go" • "The most of the people here have green eyes and blond hair"

DARK GREEN - VERDE OSCURO • "Dark green is usually used in military outfit" • "I´m making a text with dark green border"

LIGHT GRAY - GRIS CLARO • "My boss wears a light gray suit with black necktie" (Mi jefe viste un traje de color gris claro y corbata negra). • "I have a light gray chair in my office" (Tengo una silla de color gris claro en mi oficina).

GRAY - GRIS • "Gray color represents seriousness and matureness" (El color gris representa seriedad y madurez.) • "Mr. Jhonson has black hair and gray sideburns" (El señor Jhonson tiene cabello negro y patillas canosas).

DARK GRAY - GRIS OSCURO • "It´s a dark gray substance with strong smell" (Es una sustancia de color gris oscuro con olor fuerte). • "I love dark gray cars, they look awesome" (Me gustan los coches de color gris oscuro, se ven geniales).

ORANGE - NARANJA • "Cheerful can be represented by orange color" (La alegría puede ser representada por el color naranja). • "My company´s logo has an orange background and black letters" (El logotipo de mi empresa tiene un fondo anaranjado y letras negras).

RED - ROJO • "Red is the most intense color" (El rojo es el color mas intenso). • "I wanna buy a pair of red tennis shoes" (Quiero comprar un par de tenis rojos).

BROWN - CAFÉ • "Jason likes women with brown eyes" (A Jason le gustan las mujeres de ojos castaños). • "Brown shoes are my favorite" (Los zapatos de color café son mis favoritos).

VIOLET - VIOLETA • "She wants to to get a violet lipstick" (Ella quiere conseguir un ointalabiso violeta). • "Violet is a very feminine color" (El violeta es un color muy femenino).

PURPLE - MORADO • "Purple is a good color for a mystical atmosphere" (El púrpua es un buen colorpara una atmósfera mística). • "Marissa is wearing a purple blouse" (marissa está usando una blusa morada).

BLACK - NEGRO • "Mr. Davis wears a black hat" (El señor davis trae un sombrero negro). • "My best friend has a black cat as pet" (Mi mejor amigo tien un gato negro de mascota).

GOLDEN - DORADO • "My daddy gave me a golden watch" (Mi papá me obsequió un reloj dorado). • "This golden necklace is really costly" (Este collar dorado es realmente costoso).

SILVER - PLATEADO • "There´s a silver fork on the table" (Hay un tenedor plateado sobre la mesa). • "I always wear a silver bracelet on my right arm" (Siempre uso un brazalete en mi brazo derecho).
