NUNCA DIGAS "MANS", PLURALES IRREGULARES

La inmensa mayoría de los sustantivos en Inglés tienen terminación "S" O "ES" en su forma plural, sim embargo, hay excepciones a esta regla, hay algunos cuya forma plural es diferente, es esta lección te dejo una lista de estos plurales irregulares mas comunes que utilizas en tu vocabulario cotidiano, cada uno con un ejemplo: • MAN: HOMBRE "Jhonny is a very strong man." • MEN: HOMBRES "Men use to be taller than women." • WOMAN: "Our grandmother was a great woman." • WOMEN: "Many women are shopping now." • CHILD: "There´s a child playing at the park." • CHILDREN: "This classroom has many children." • PERSON: PERSONA "Mr. Michael has been a respectable person." • PEOPLE: PERSONAS, GENTE "A lot of people go to the beach on weekends." • MOUSE: RATÓN "There´s a mouse under my bed." • MICE: RATONES "Roger likes having mice as pets." • GOOSE: GANSO "The goose was killed by the snake." • GEESE: GANSOS "We have hens, turkeys and geese in our farm." • TOOTH: DIENTE "He lost one tooth by fighting last night." • TEETH: DIENTES "The dentist will fix my teeth." • FOOT: PIE "I injured my left foot in the soccer match." • FEET: PIES "Tommy´s feet are really large." • OX: BUEY "I´ve never seen an ox." • OXEN: BUEYES "Oxen are huge animals that live in North America." Ahora, algunos de los sustantivos con terminación "F" en su pronunciación, en palabras como "Wolf" o "Wife", para estas palabras, se emplea la terminación "VES" en lugar de "S" o "ES". Aqui, una lista de ejemplos: • WIFE: ESPOSA "Martha is not my wife." • WIVES: ESPOSAS "The kings of the past had many wives." • WOLF: LOBO "The hunter was attacked by a wolf." • WOLVES: LOBOS "Wolves live in groups." • KNIFE: CUCHILLO "This knife is really sharp." • KNIVES: CUCHILLOS "Helen bought a set of knives for her kitchen." • LEAF: HOJA (DE PLANTA, ARBOL) "The butterfly laid on the leaf." • LEAVES: HOJAS "Some leaves fall down on my garden." *Los artículos en cada oración deben coincidir con el sustantivo dependiendo si es singular o plural, por ejemplo, cuando es singular, se utiliza "A" o "AN" y cuando es plural se utiliza "SOME" u otros como "MANY".
